Bequinox Effigy

March 29, 2017

Bequinox is a Los Angeles Burning Man regional event which is held in Joshua Tree yearly. This year I was part of the build team who created the effigy we burned as a community.

I worked on the project for several build weekends helping with many different areas of construction. The effigy was designed by Eric Anderson and built by an amazing team of artists. It was an honor to be part of the project and I had a blast building.

Particpants were encouraged to write on wooded leaves and hang them in the tree.

Friday night during the event we all gathered together and burned the effigy.
